Our Toques
Our Toques
“Our Toques” are worsted (or DK) weight hats with moderate slouch, featuring a colorwork motif created through the use of stranded colorwork in three colorways. The concept behind this design is to knit one hat for yourself and another for a friend of family member, using a single hat kit! The pattern designs are similar, yet different enough to alleviate that feeling of “I don’t want to knit the same pattern twice!”
Sizes 1 / (2)
child / (adult regular)
Finished circumference: 18 (21)” / 46 (53) cm, post blocking. Intended to fit with negative ease of 0.5 – 2” / 1–5 cm from actual head size.
Based on suggested yarn below and gauge for worsted weight. For a smaller child / (adult) size, use a light worsted or DK weight yarn and refer to the gauge for DK weight. This modification will result in finished circumferences: 16 (19)” / 40.5 (48) cm.
