Suggested Needles & Notions

  • US 11 / 8 mm, 16 – 24” / 41 – 61 cm circulars or size needed for herringbone gauge

  • US 10.5 / 6.5 mm, 16” & 32” / 41 & 80 cm (or longer) circulars or size needed for stockinette gauge (main needle)

  • US 9 / 5.5 mm or 2 sizes smaller than main needle, 32” / 80 cm (or longer) circular (only needed if working the alternate hem option in twisted rib)

  • DPNs or circulars in both sizes for working small circumferences (sleeves)

Note: I suggest using interchangeable needles which will allow you to use a smaller size LHN for the herringbone stitch sections. This will not affect gauge but makes herringbone easier to work.

  • Distinct BOR marker plus 3 additional markers

  • Darning needle, scissors, waste yarn
